EFFECTS OF TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT ANKYLOSIS ON DENTITION AND RAMUS HEIGHT

Objective:To determine dentition related problems in patients with TMJ ankylosis and to establish effect of on ramus height.Material method:This descriptive study was conducted at Khyber College Dentistry, Peshawar Pakistan, from July 2020 2021. Medical records Cone beam computed tomography 20 the diagnosis temporomandibular joint were included study.Results: Most presented unilateral (n=15, 75%) In ankylosis, affected side body (4.89cm, 7.63cm respectively) less than non-affected sides (5.54cm, 8.15cm) respectively. Dentition crowding malposed teeth present all bilateral 9 cases. Conclusion:This established height. The height deficient erupted crowded most patients.
